The Progressive Episcopal Church is a community of progressive Christians engaged in the Great Commission of proclaiming and demonstrating the Gospel of Jesus Christ: the Good News of love (St. Matthew 22:36-40). 

The Progressive Episcopal Church is an ecclesiastical province of the one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church united by a common Baptismal Covenant, a common Mission, common Principles and a common Heritage.
